HOPE AT THE END OF THE TUNNEL RJ, a 23-year-old from Davao City, began a difficult path when he knew that he was positive for HIV. Overwhelmed with mixed emotions, he blamed himself for his carelessness and felt a profound sense of loneliness. Filled with despair, RJ turned to social media, hoping to find solace and support. Through Twitter, RJ had met our compassionate volunteer who emphasized the significance of joining a support group. Sensing RJ's need for connection and understanding, our volunteer encouraged him to seek out a support group specifically tailored for individuals living with HIV. Despite his reservations and fears, RJ decided to take a leap of faith and joined the group.
